Trend: The House Dress
For most of us, we have been in a shelter-in-place for weeks or even months. The lines are blurred between work and life and there are some days where you literally don’t leave the 4 walls of your house. There are certain materials or outfits that aren't practical right now, your sequins dress for instance is amazing for a zoom photoshoot, but not for sitting on the couch with your work laptop.
That is why the house dress makes so much sense. It can be as loose as you want (to accommodate all the snacks I’ve been eating at home), but it also lifts your mood in more ways than one. It feels good to wear something other than sweatpants, it brings back all the memories of the previous times you wore the dress and reminds you that you will have future fun in that dress too!
